Being a trauma informed and responsive workforce and services means that we universally recognise where people are affected by trauma and adversity, and respond in ways that prevent further harm and support recovery.
It is important we recognise that this applies to our workforce and the people that we support as we begin to acknowledge that trauma is not the rare exception we thought it was and that understanding how to work in trauma informed and responsive ways is relevant to all of us, whatever our role.
The one-day trauma skilled training course, provided by Epione Training and consultancy aligns to the NES level 2 framework and is designed for all agencies who are likely to be working alongside people who may have been affected by trauma. This course will assist personal reflection on how to think about this in your daily working approach and develop new knowledge and skills to apply in practice.
It will be tailored towards Team Leaders, Managers, and those wishing to become champions of the Trauma Informed Approach and Response in their workplace.
